Gear Keeper Retractable Side Arm Tethers are available in Low Force and Super Force models. Low Force models have no resistance on the firearm and act as a safety tether. With a 3 oz. retraction force, a 36” extension length and a 60 lb. break strength, it is recommended for when a firearm is extended for long periods of time. The Super Force model suspends the firearm, and works as a stabilization force when aiming. With 24 oz. retraction force, a 32” extension and an 80 lb. break strength, it is recommended for short duration use.
Both models are designed with a low profile lanyard to prevent snagging, and to keep your firearm comfortably and snuggly against your person allowing for better mobility. Made to operate in extreme environments with maximum break strength and durability, the retractors feature a patented saltwater proof flushing system that keeps debris out as the line retracts. In the rare case the line does get entangled, the retractor has a defined break-away point so you can easily disconnect the firearm with the company’s patented Q/C-II Connection system.
The new 360° Rotating MOLLE Mount lets you carry 2 MOLLE attachment options in one product. A secure and compact mount rotates minimizing resistance and line fatigue and ultimately allowing you to extend the line at different angles more comfortably. Available in three different sizes to fit your needs, the mount comes in 3 oz. retraction force/36” extension; 6 oz. retraction force/36” extension; and 9 oz. retraction force/32” extension. All are available in the color black or coyote.
Finally, the tactical lineup now features the company’s new Integrated Retractable Holster, which has the benefits of a holster all with the security and ease of use of a retractable tether.
